In Bethany Erickson’s 25-year career, she has covered subjects as varied as the arts and entertainment to education, to more gritty stuff like crime. Rather than be a “Jill of all trades, master of none,” however, Bethany has used each career pivot to take the opportunity to really learn and immerse herself in the necessary knowledge base she needs to give each subject the attention it needs. 

Currently, she is the Director of Audience Engagement for a successful online real estate media company, and an enterprise reporter for its flagship publication. Since the primary school district she covers now is a large urban one, she took it upon herself to take additional courses about the history and trajectory of public education in an urban setting to better be able to explain the issues and also ask more informed questions of school officials.  She also covers politics and the court system.
